Electra Ramat Hasharon completed her Israeli roster by signing Gat Megiddo, a tall Israeli player who played in the last few years in the top teams of the national league. In the last season she starred with Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion, who will join the super league for the coming season.
"Gat wanted very much to play for us" Says Coach Ostfeld. "Contrary to other players, she is not intimidated by joining a big team, and I believe that she can continue her progress from former seasons."
"Not every day do you get a chance to play for a team such as Ramat Hasharon", says Megiddo. "I was very happy to hear that they want me. I'm not scared by that, rather the contrary. People should pay attention to the progress that players such as Ayelet Cohen and Yael Ahronov have achieved in this team. Even Meirav Dori and Nomi Kolodny did a career jump while playing there. I believe in myself and hope to succeed at least as much".
