The 1st  foreign player to join our team for the next season is 25 years old, 1.80m guard Alexis Hornbuckle. She can play in all the out-posts and contributes to all aspects of the game. In college, for example, she took the championship for Tennessee (with Candice Parker and Nicki Annousike), she is included in the list of only three players who scored during their college career over 900 points, took more than 500 rebounds, gave over 350 assists, stole over 250 times and blocked over 50 times.

Hornbuckle, who played last year for Elizur Holon, is a Tulsa WNBA team player, to which she transferred from Detroit. Two years ago, in her first WNBA season, Detroit won the championship, thus contributing to her long list of achievements.

"I wanted to bring her last year, but some how it did not work out", says Coach Orna Ostfeld. "I'm glad it worked out this time, especially after seeing her play for Holon. She is a player that does everything and she was a big trouble last season. The most I like about her, though, is that she's a wise player, and she's amazing with stealing and assisting".
