Tamar Maoz, who left the team 3 years ago, is joining the team for the coming season. Maoz was injured at the end of 2007 season, playing for Ramat Hasharon against Ramla. She went through surgery and quit active basketball. Last season she served as assistant coach at Elizur Natanya. Parallel to her playing in the super league she will coach the Roche Ramat Hasharon team (national league).

Recently Maoz decided that she wishes to continue her basketball activity and started a diet and training program. "I simply miss playing" She says. "I thought I didn't have a proper end to my career, and since I can still contribute on the court, I decided to get back. Ramat Hasharon is my home and a great place to play in, so there's hardly a competition".

Orna Ostfeld, the team's professional manager and coach did not hesitate. "We are happy to let Tamar the option to check her ability to play. She may not play 30 minutes a game, but she can surely contribute with her experience and game wisdom, which are things you cannot lose. Tamar is more than another player for us, she is well connected with our fans and she's back home".
