Electra Ramat Hasharon clinched first place in the super league for the play-off series by winning over Maccabi Tel Kabir 74:94.
Ramat Hasharon presented mediocre basketball with only Meirav Dori, both at defense and offense, keeping the team at a low advantage difference (37:42 at the half). But, the second half was played as if the fate of the whole season depended on it. Tel Kabir remained with no answer as Dori continued scoring, Katia Levitsky passed balls inside, Ambrosia Anderson grabbed every rebound and Shira Haelion, Ayelet Cohen and Yael Ahronov contributed good moments.
Ramat Hasharon gradually enlarged the difference to over 20 points, yet Tel Kabir did not give in and managed to cut the difference to 12. Orna Ostfeld brought the senior five players in to finally reach the score of 74:94.
On Monday February 1st, Ramat Hasharon will host Hapoel Tel-Aviv for the final game of the regular season.
