Pre Season Tournament in memory of Meir Doron
On Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 10-11, a special tournment will be held at Oranim Sport Hall in Ramat Hasharon.

Season Opening - 1st training
On Sunday evening the 1st training session of this season took place, with only 6 Israeli players on the court. The new faces are Ira Hashivon, 47 years old who looks and runs like a girl, Keren Boyce, who actually comes from the girls' league, and Shir Ra'anan, a 26 years old guard who played last year for Ramat Gan National League team.

New Season Update
Soon we are about to start the new 2011-12 season of women basketball league in Israel.
Pre-season tournament in memory of Meir Doron will be held on October 10-11. First league game will be played on October 17th (Pink Game).

Jessica Breland is the 4th foreign player at the team
Ramat Hasharon completed the 4 foreign players by signing Jessica Breland, a Connecticut Sun WNBA player. Breland, (23, 1.90) is a North Carolina graduate and was chosen at 13th place draft by Minnesota, now playing in Connecticut.

Maurita Reid is the 3rd foreign player of Ramat Hasharon
Maurita Reid, 1.73, 26 years old point guard, is the 3rd foreign player to sign for Ramat Hasharon, after Porsha Phillips and Jia Perkins. Reid, Miami University graduate, is a combination of point guard and scorer, and two years ago she was the score queen in the Polish league with 21.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 steals per game.

Jia Perkins returns to Ramat Hasharon
Jia Perkins, WNBA San Antonio Stars player, will play in Ramat Hasharon in the coming season. For Perkins (29) it will be the 3rd cadence in the team, after a full season in 2008-9 and a part season a year later when they won the championship.

Cohen, Ahronov & Ganor sign for another season
Ayelet Cohen and Noa Ganor will continue to another season at Ramat Hasharon, thus joining Yael Ahronov, who signed first. After Meirav Dori left the team, Ramat Hasharon made an effort to leave as many of last season core players, and succeeded in signed the three.

Porsha Phillips signs at Ramat Hasharon
Ramat Hasharon signed Porsha Phillips, 1.88, of the San Antonio Silver Stars. It's Phillips' first season, after graduating from Georgia University, where she scored average of 3 points and 4 rebounds at about 11 minutes per game.

Loss of the 2nd semi-final playoff game
Although Electra Ramat Hasharon played far better than in the first game, the team lost again to Maccabi Ashdod 80-72. The guests opened the game well and led the first quarter by 17-23, mainly due to 3-point shots by Erica White (17 pts., 7 assists) and Camille Little (18 pts.).

Ramat Hasharon on the way to the semi finals
Electra Ramat Hasharon reached 2:0 in the quarter final play-off series against Elizur Natanya by winning an away game 93:80. A win of the next game will conclude this series and will bring the team to the semi-final series.
